Handwriting:
- Guess the Letter - Verbal Edition: Parents: familiarize yourself with the handwriting terminology. While seated at the table for a meal, driving in the car, sitting around ask your child to play Guess the Letter. You verbally give them directions for how to form a letter and they have to guess what the letter is. If they can’t get it, ask them to try and make it in the air or on the table with their finger as you are saying it.

Fine Motor
- Tissue Paper Flowers: Materials needed - paper, crayons, tissue paper, squeeze glue bottle) On a piece of paper draw a large flower (just a simple circle in the middle with ovals around it for the petals)
- Have your child color in the center circle. Rip paper or crumple tissue to paper to fill in the petals. When gluing use X marks as a guide for where to place the glue as needed. Squeeze glue bottles are preferred to help with hand strengthening and so your child can learn how hard/soft to squeeze. Click on the link below for a model of the final product.
